Our staff has nearly 100 years cumulative experience in the design, installation, preventative maintenance, inspection, test, and repair of fire alarm, emergency evacuation signaling, high and low pressure gas fire extinguishing systems (FM-200, C02), fire sprinkler (wet, dry, deluge, and pre-action), fire pump and pump control performance testing.
Our staff has 20+ years experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of security control systems including card access, outdoor perimeter detection, intrusion, CCTV, and door controls (institutional, industrial, and commercial).

| Kevin Berry has been a Design Engineer in the life safety industry since 1990. His Denver licenses include Access Control Supervisor and Electrical Signal Supervisor, plus Aurora Contractor License D-7 Fire Alarms. Kevin's interest in fire protection technology began while serving as a Fireman and Fire Control Technician in the United States Coast Guard. Commercial system design work has included complex fire detection, fire suppression, security, access control, and CCTV systems installed in various jurisdictions in Colorado and California. Kevin is well versed in NFPA standards and related fire codes, creates the required AutoCAD drawings for all projects, and prepares submitals to the authorities having jurisdiction. Kevin has an AA degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering & Design, AutoCAD Certification, and computer programming experience. | Ray Sonntag has more than 35 years experience in fire suppression, including 21 years as a fire-fighter in the U.S. Air Force. Certifications include Cross Connection Control Technician and International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (Fire Officer II, Fire Inspector II, Fire Investigator II). Career experience incudes a broad range of fire protection and management issues: vehicle and equipment set-up and maintenance; conduct of fire and emergency response operations; communications management; implementation of fire training programs; fire prevention at construction sites and existing facilities; development of fire fighting plans. Other experience includes wet and dry sprinkler systems, special hazard protection systems, fire alarm systems, NFPA standards, and local fire codes. Ray focuses on fire extinguisher training, fire extinguisher service, and kitchen hood system service. |
